A Escola Incubadora Colégio Interativo Pestalozzi foi se desenvolvendo e criando um ecossistema educativo-tecnológico, propício ao desenvolvimento de EBTs (empresas de base tecnológica) voltadas ou não para a Educação, auxiliando-as a superar os estágios iniciais de seus ciclos de vida (mais precisamente o vale da morte) a fortalecerem-se e escalarem. Em contrapartida, a Escola Incubadora se beneficiou dos produtos e serviços das EBTs. As empresas que querem desenvolver produtos ou serviços na área de educação podem precisar mais de uma Escola Incubadora (devido às grandes especificidades do ambiente escolar) do que de uma incubadora tradicional. O objetivo principal da pesquisa é descobrir se uma Escola de Educação Básica brasileira pode efetivamente funcionar como uma incubadora tecnológica que possibilita a sobrevivência e o desenvolvimento de empresas tecnológicas voltadas para a Educação (Edtechs). Segue-se o objetivo de se construir um modelo de ecossistema educativo-tecnológico capaz de dar sustentação à criação, desenvolvimento, consolidação e expansão de EBTs utilizando-se outras escolas brasileiras com a prontidão necessária. O Colégio Interativo Pestalozzi já incubou diversas EBTs e Edtechs, favorecendo a sobrevivência e o desenvolvimento delas. O administrador do Colégio e Autor deste trabalho, utilizando-se da pesquisa participante, descreveu e explicou didaticamente as experiências vividas em mais de dez anos de trabalho, bem como apresentou os resultados desta pesquisa, suas consequências sobre as empresas incubadas e sobre a Escola Incubadora, inúmeras lições aprendidas e sugestões para estudos futuros. Permeia todo o trabalho o desejo de que, sem perda de rigor científico, a pesquisa possa se tornar compreensível, útil e acessível a todos que desejarem desenvolver novos ecossistemas educativo-tecnológicos e multiplicar seus benefícios econômicos, sociais e ambientais.

The Colégio Interativo Pestalozzi incubator school has been developing and creating an educational-technological ecosystem, conducive to the development of EBTs (technology- based companies) focused on Education or not, helping them to overcome the initial stages of their life cycles (more precisely the valley of death) to strengthen and climb. On the other hand, the Incubator School benefited from the products and services of the EBTs. Companies that want to develop products or services in the education area may need an Incubator School (due to the great specificities of the school environment) more than a traditional incubator. The main objective of the research is to find out if a Brazilian Basic Education School can effectively function as a technology incubator that enables the survival and development of educational technology companies (Edtechs). The objective is to build a model of an educational-technological ecosystem capable of supporting the creation, development, consolidation and expansion of EBTs using other Brazilian schools with the necessary readiness. Colégio Interativo Pestalozzi has already incubated several EBTs and Edtechs, favoring their survival and development. The administrator of the College and author of this work, using the participant research, didactically describe and explained the experiences lived in more than ten years of work, as well as presented the results of this research, its consequences on the incubated companies and on the Incubator School, numerous lessons learned and suggestions for future studies. The desire permeates all the work that, without loss of scientific rigor, research can become understandable, useful and accessible to all who wish to develop new educational-technological ecosystems and multiply their economic, social and environmental benefits.
