Este trabalho de pesquisa procura investigar como as Organizações Nacionais de Turismo estão utilizando a Internet por meio de seus websites. Primeiro buscou-se subsídios na literatura existente sobre turismo, Internet e e-business. Com base em um modelo de análise de sites de turismo, realizou-se uma análise de conteúdo de tais sites. Foi possível verificar o tipo de categorias de conteúdo existentes nos sites, bem como sua classificação segundo propósito. Após isto comparou-se os resultados segundo regiões geográficas de origem das organizações.

This paper's main aim is to search how the National Tourism Organizations use the Internet through their websites. At the first moment theory about Tourism, Internet and e-business was studied. Based in a tourism site analysis model a content analysis was made in these websites. It was possible verifying the kind of categories that they have, as well as, their purpose classification. After that the results were compared according to their geographic region.
