Este estudo analisa a política de preços e gestão de receitas no negócio de companhias aéreas e as variáveis que influenciam nestes modelos. Na primeira parte deste trabalho analisamos o desenvolvimento da indústria das companhias aéreas, as estruturas dos mercados, a regulamentação e desregulamentação, o papel da IATA, os acordos comerciais e bilaterais e o seu impacto na política de preços e gestão de receitas das companhias aéreas. Na segunda parte analisamos a política de preços e gestão de receitas no negócio de companhias aéreas e seus modelos. Ao final deste trabalho apresentamos um estudo de caso sobre precificação e gestão de receitas. Chegamos à conclusão que estes são cruciais para as companhias aéreas neste mercado fortemente competitivo e liberalizado.

This work analyzes pricing and revenue management policies and strategies in the airline industry, as well as the variables that influence these models. In the first part of this work we analyze the structure and development of the airline industry, regulation and deregulation, the role of IATA, bilateral and commercial agreements and their impacts on policies, pricing strategies and Revenue Management. In the second part we analyze pricing and Revenue Management models and policies and strategies in the airline industry. We conclude that these models are crucial for airlines in this competitive and liberalized market.
