Abstract in English
In recent years there has been a growing effort in the building of Marketing models. However the same does not apply to the validation and comparison aspects of models. The validation of models is part of the scientific process and the inexistence of a theory on this subject is by itself evidence of its complexity. Traditionally the evaluation of models has been guided in terms of individually taken atributes and therefore the researcher when faced by a set of models related to the same Marketing phenomenum, may not be able to have an integrated validation and compar ison view of these models. Thus, taken into account the inexistence of such a theory, and on the other hand, the large number of material about specific models, we focused the main objective of our work which is to construct although in an stage, a conceptual and operational model for the evaluation and comparison of Marketing models. In order to accomplish this objective we worked on the number of distinctive functions realized by the models, the concepts of models, the Identification of the conceptualization components, modeling, solving model, and implementation and the multiple abilities associated with these activities. As a result we veri fied it to be ideally desirable that a Marketing model evaluation be accomplished through a significant sample of the community of Marketing philosophers or theoreticians, of Marketing scientists and of Marketing managers. Finally we verified the proposed model to allow concurrent Marketing models to be divided into dominant and dominated classes becoming and input to the development of a Bank of Marketing models.
