O agronegócio, importante para a economia do Brasil, sendo um setor gerador de empregos, fornecedor de alimentos e com grande relevância no PIB, contribui amplamente para o crescimento econômico. Para fomentar o setor diversos elos da cadeia estão presentes como empresas produtoras de insumos, produtores rurais, indústrias de alimentos. As revendas agropecuárias surgem como o intuito de interligar as empresas com os produtores rurais, fornecendo produtos e serviços necessários para a produção. Para permanecerem no mercado as revendas devem se atentar aos aspectos ligados a estratégias competitivas, especificamente estratégias de marketing e inserção de tecnologia e ferramentas digitais. Com o objetivo de entender a organização, o funcionamento, dificuldades, planejamento das revendas agropecuárias foram aplicados dois questionários, sendo um questionário aberto aplicado em 123 revendas e um questionário fechado, utilizando o modo de escala Likert em 86 revendas agropecuárias. Concluiu-se que as revendas apresentam similaridades de funcionamento independente da região em que se localiza. Foi possível classificar as revendas por porte de tamanho seguindo a classificação do IBGE que utiliza o número de funcionários e assim analisar as particularidades entre as revendas micros, pequenas, médias e grandes. Entre os principais desafios estão logísticas, planejamento de vendas, legislações de armazenamento e sazonalidade. O setor é carente de informações e pesquisas na área são de extrema importância para as revendas entenderem como potencializar as vendas e se manterem no mercado aplicando as estratégias de competitividade, de marketing, as tendências digitais, assim como as pesquisas permitem um melhor entendimento administrativo estimulando as revendas agropecuárias a se posicionarem e atenderem as expectativas dos clientes.

Agribusiness, important to the Brazilian economy, being a sector that generates jobs, provides food and has great relevance in the GDP, contributes largely to economic growth. To promote the sector, several links in the chain are present, such as companies that produce inputs, rural producers, and food industries. Agricultural resellers arise with the aim of connecting companies with rural producers, providing products and services necessary for production. To remain in the market, resellers must pay attention to aspects related to competitive strategies, specifically marketing strategies and the insertion of technology and digital tools. In order to understand the organization, operation, difficulties, planning of agricultural resellers, two questionnaires were applied, being an open questionnaire applied to 123 resellers and a closed questionnaire, using the Likert scale mode in 86 agricultural resellers. It was concluded that the resellers have similar functioning regardless of the region in which they are located. It was possible to classify the resellers by size according to the IBGE classification that uses the number of employees and thus analyze the particularities between micro, small, medium and large resellers. Among the main challenges are logistics, sales planning, storage legislation and seasonality. The sector lacks information and research in the area is extremely important for resellers to understand how to boost sales and remain in the market by applying competitiveness, marketing strategies, digital trends, as well as research allowing a better administrative understanding, stimulating agricultural resellers to position and meet customer expectations.
