Auto organização do jogo de handebol: análise comparativa de diferentes categorias do alto nível competitivo

Abstract in English
Handball is a collective sports game characterized by the alternation of phases (defensive, offensive and transitions), with specific objectives that demand appropriate technical and technical-tactical elements. In this dynamic and complex context, players are faced with unexpected situations, to which they must adapt following the rules and logic of the game. Therefore, each phase of the game (offensive, defensive and transitions) is determined by possession of the ball and operational principles that guide the conception and performance of the players. This research had as general objective to analyze the self-organizational cycle of the high competitive level in different categories (under-19, under-21 and adult). The specific objectives were: a) to map the aspects that define self-organization in each category; b) analyze the self-organization of each category; c) compare and discuss the self-organization between the categories. For this, systematic observation was used without participation in the context of the game. The results allow us to affirm that in all categories the self-organizational cycle is that teams with possession of the ball will be able to follow the offensive principles proposed by Bayer (1994) and Menezes, Morato and Marques (2016), managing to complete the objective of its phase (completion). During the defensive phase, although they manage to make a defensive return and prevent progression through the making of fouls, in general the attack will be able to finish on goal. It was also possible to observe that the logic remains the same for the under 19, under 21 and adult categories.
