Em 2020 o mundo foi surpreendido pela pandemia do novo coronavírus (Sars-Cov2) e a maioria das profissões sofreu algum tipo de impacto devido às restrições impostas pelas autoridades sanitárias e governamentais no combate da Covid-19. O presente estudo investigou os impactos sofridos por profissionais de educação física, especificamente em treinadores de assessorias esportivas de esportes de endurance. Buscou-se entender as mudanças que ocorreram no seu modo de trabalho, quais foram as estratégias de marketing adotadas e descrever o impacto financeiro sofrido por eles. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e interpretadas utilizando-se o método análise de conteúdo, foram entrevistados seis profissionais de educação física, proprietários de assessorias esportivas. Os principais achados foram que estes treinadores sofreram um impacto considerável durante a pandemia de COVID-19, forçando-os a buscar novas alternativas para trabalhar, novas estratégias para motivar seus alunos a continuarem treinando, e experimentar novas ferramentas para manter e captar novos alunos para atenuar o impacto financeiro. Conclui-se que os profissionais de educação física passaram por uma ressignificação no seu trabalho, passando por mudanças no modo de trabalho, utilizando a tecnologia a seu favor para ministrarem suas aulas e manter o contato com os alunos durante a pandemia.

In 2020 the world was surprised by the pandemic of the new coronavirus (Sars-Cov2). Most professions suffered some kind of impact due to the restrictions imposed by health and governmental authorities in the fight against Covid-19. The present study investigated the impacts suffered by physical education professionals, specifically coaches of endurance sports. It sought to understand the changes that have occurred in their way of working, what marketing strategies have been adopted, and to describe the financial impact suffered by them. It is characterized as qualitative research, conducted through semi-structured interviews and interpreted using the content analysis method. Six physical education professionals, owners of sports consultancies, were interviewed. The main findings were that these coaches suffered a considerable impact during the pandemic of COVID-19, forcing them to seek new alternatives to work, new strategies to motivate their students to continue training, and to try new tools to keep and attract new athletes to mitigate the financial impact. It is concluded that physical education professionals went through a re-signification in their work, going through changes in the way they work, using technology in their favor to teach their classes and maintain contact with their athletes during the pandemic.
