A educação em saúde é um processo de construção de conhecimentos para orientar indivíduos e populações sobre o autocuidado, ações de prevenção e promoção de saúde, respeitando o ambiente, a cultura e os conhecimentos prévios dos educandos. Com o objetivo de usar essa ferramenta para a educação de sentenciados da Penitenciária Adriano Marrey, elaboramos um Curso de Extensão na modalidade Difusão, em parceria com a Pró-Reitoria de Cultura e Extensão Universitária da USP. Através de metodologias que horizontalizam o ensino e exigem a participação do aluno no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, abordamos os temas: violência, drogas e saúde mental, saúde bucal e saúde geral, higiene e qualidade de vida, e, infecções sexualmente transmissíveis. Para fortalecer o processo educacional, as informações fornecidas devem ser reafirmadas constantemente nos atendimentos de saúde da Unidade. Dessa forma, tornou-se necessário que todos os profissionais do Setor de Reintegração e Saúde da Penitenciária participassem de um programa de Educação Permanente em Saúde, com os mesmos temas e no formato de roda de conversa. Este programa foi planejado para equalizar o conhecimento dos profissionais sobre os temas, ao mesmo tempo que desenvolvia o trabalho em equipe multiprofissional. Desta forma, o curso de difusão e o programa de educação permanente foram objetos da presente pesquisa quali-quantitativa, cujos resultados foram obtidos através da análise dos questionários avaliativos dos participantes, comparados à observação participante da pesquisadora. Avaliou-se o interesse na proposta das aulas e dos encontros e a percepção da capacidade de difusão do conteúdo aprendido, ao mesmo tempo que estimulou-se a reflexão de hábitos, o pensamento crítico, a criatividade e a reintegração social nos sentenciados. Concluiu-se que a roda de conversa foi bem aceita pelos profissionais, houve maior interação e fortalecimento dos vínculos da equipe, embora não tenha sido suficiente para a mudança de rotina do serviço e a instituição de um trabalho em equipe multiprofissional eficiente. O Curso de Difusão para sentenciados foi muito bem recebido pelos participantes, inclusive solicitando novas edições. Houve troca de experiências e conhecimentos, estímulos emocionais e artísticos, além de absorção de conhecimento científico sobre saúde e autocuidado e incentivos à reintegração social. Espera-se que este trabalho sirva de estímulo para novas pesquisas sobre o tema, e para que profissionais e gestores repensem os cuidados com os sentenciados e com os profissionais da SAP.

Health education is a process of building knowledge to guide individuals and populations about self-care, prevention and health promotion actions, respecting the environment, culture and previous knowledge of students. In order to use this tool for the education of convicts of the Adriano Marrey Penitentiary, we have prepared an Extension Course in the Diffusion modality, in partnership with USP's Dean of Culture and University Extension. Through methodologies that flatten teaching and require student participation in the teaching-learning process, we address the themes: violence, drugs and mental health, oral health and general health, hygiene and quality of life, and sexually transmitted infections. To strengthen the educational process, the information provided must be constantly reaffirmed in the Unit's health care. Thus, it became necessary for all professionals in the Penitentiary's Reintegration and Health Sector to participate in a Permanent Health Education program, with the same themes and in the form of a conversation circle. This program was designed to equalize the professionals' knowledge on the themes, while developing multiprofessional teamwork. In this way, the diffusion course and the permanent education program were the object of this qualitative and quantitative research, the results of which were obtained through the analysis of the participants' evaluative questionnaires, compared to the researcher's participant observation. The interest in the proposal of the classes and meetings and the perception of the ability to disseminate the learned content were evaluated, while stimulating the reflection of habits, critical thinking, creativity and social reintegration in the sentenced ones. It was concluded that the conversation circle was well accepted by the professionals, there was greater interaction and strengthening of the team bonds, although it was not enough to change the service routine and the institution of an efficient multidisciplinary team work. The Diffusion Course for sentenced persons was very well received by the participants, including requesting new editions. There was an exchange of experiences and knowledge, emotional and artistic stimuli, in addition to the absorption of scientific knowledge about health and self-care and incentives for social reintegration. It is hoped that this work will serve as a stimulus for further research on the topic, and for professionals and managers to rethink the care of convicts and SAP professionals.
