Abstract in English
This essay investigates strategies to safeguard cultural references in traditional and folk culture backgrounds, observing their limits and potentialities from the heritage self-management perspective; aims to discuss the conceptual principles linked to refreshing movements in Museology and their applicability in different contexts of motivation and administration, taking museological sets and doings into account, as well as safeguard public policies, regard to the acknowledgement of cultural asset holders' protagonism in their memory management. To achieve this, we propose to take a museological glance at three concrete experiences of heritage management, performed in hybrid models and in different institutional spheres, in order to bring them closer to theoretical-conceptual discussions and identify methodological reciprocities in preservationist procedures. Although revealed in unusual phenomena to museologic domain, in other words, not in conformity with established and institutionalized models, these cultural processes articulate information, memory and culture and socially highlight identified cultural repertoire in community, territory and heritage. The recognition of these processes - at the same time museal fact and museologic phenomenon - contributes to think of safeguarding actions, considering cultural asset holders' protagonism in the whole operational chain of safeguard procedures and in heritage communication.
