O presente estudo propõe uma investigação sobre a possibilidade de musealização de histórias de vida a partir de uma proposta de construção colaborativa destes acervos por meio do ambiente virtual. Para tanto, esta pesquisa pretende em primeiro lugar traçar um breve panorama da presença e usos da internet no campo cultural no Brasil, em especial as instituições museológicas. Trataremos também da presença dos museus na Internet, dos conceitos de museu virtual, de ciberespaço e do movimento que vem sido denominado de cibermuseologia, visando compreender como as transformações causadas pelo avanço irrefreável das tecnologias digitais impactam a museologia e os museus. Serão investigadas também as inflexões destas discussões para o campo da memória, das novas formas de pensa-la e armazena-la, do papel das redes sociais nestes processos e da forma como construímos narrativas e passamos a nos identificar enquanto indivíduos nesta nova organização social. Por fim, duas ações realizadas durante a pandemia serão analisadas como estudo de caso dessa nova configuração social e museal, sendo elas o Diário para o Futuro, realizado pelo Museu da Pessoa, e Mantiqueira Polifônica, executado pelo Museu da Mantiqueira. Ambos os museus se autodenominam museus virtuais e possuem programas de captação de registros de narrativas, fazendo uso de ferramentas digitais variadas e ações presenciais.

The present study proposes an investigation into the possibility of musealisation of life stories from a proposal of collaborative construction of these collections through the virtual environment. To this end, this research aims first to outline a brief overview of the presence and uses of the Internet in the cultural field in Brazil, especially museum institutions. We will also address the presence of museums on the Internet, the concepts of virtual museum, cyberspace and the movement that has been called cybermuseology, aiming to understand how the transformations caused by the irrepressible advance of digital technologies impact museology and museums. The inflections of these discussions to the field of memory, the new ways of thinking about it and storing it, the role of social networks in these processes and the way we build narratives and identify ourselves as individuals in this new social organisation will also be investigated. Finally, two actions carried out during the pandemic will be analysed as a case study of this new social and museum configuration, namely the Diary for the Future, carried out by the Museu da Pessoa, and Mantiqueira Polifônica, carried out by the Museu da Mantiqueira. Both museums call themselves virtual museums and have programmes for capturing narrative records, making use of various digital tools and face-to-face actions.
