A partir da identificação de um conjunto de bens culturais que demarcam a presença da arquitetura produzida por alunos egressos e professores da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie na região central de São Paulo, este trabalho discute uma concepção alargada de acervo museológico, conectando o Centro Histórico e Cultural Mackenzie (CHCM) à cidade. Os documentos, materiais escolares e depoimentos históricos de alunos e funcionários, assim como as atividades educativas já desenvolvidas pelo CHCM e as pesquisas de público são pontos de partida para se identificar conexões com o espaço urbano. Passando pela história da Instituição, especificamente pela história da Escola de Engenharia e Faculdade de Arquitetura Mackenzie para a discussão sobre a formação desses egressos e seus professores que assinam projetos de edificações na região central da cidade de São Paulo. Entre as diferentes formas de comunicação possíveis dessas referências culturais encravadas na cidade e tomando a perspectiva daquele que a visita, o trabalho propõe explorar a memória do Mackenzie por meio de percursos culturais.

From the identification of a set of cultural assets that demarcate the presence of architecture produced by former students and professors of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in the central region of São Paulo, this work discusses a broad conception of a museological collection, connecting the Mackenzie Historical and Cultural Center (CHCM) to the city. Documents, school materials and historical testimonies from students and employees, as well as educational activities already developed by CHCM and public surveys are starting points to identify connections with the urban space. Going through the history of the Institution, specifically the history of the Mackenzie School of Engineering and Faculty of Architecture, to discuss the training of these graduates and their teachers who sign building projects in the central region of the city of São Paulo. Among the different possible forms of communication of these cultural references embedded in the city and taking the perspective of those who visit it, the work proposes to explore the memory of Mackenzie through cultural paths.
