Desde a institucionalização do patrimônio, o passado tornou-se objeto de desejo e de comercialização, representando, ao mesmo tempo, a construção de memórias. Os espaços patrimonializados desempenham um importante papel no cenário contemporâneo no que tange à produção da cidade. O objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em compreender em que medida é possível relacionar os processos de patrimonialização à tematização e à banalização do patrimônio. Tendo como referência a trilogia Esferas do filósofo alemão Peter Sloterdijk enquanto método de análise, propomos um olhar específico para a construção do que denominamos de atmosfera patrimonial, que abarca as diversas dimensões e valores associados ao patrimônio, compreendido a partir de suas materialidades e imaterialidades, enquanto um legado e um processo ativo de criação de sentidos e significados. No enquadramento da noção de atmosfera patrimonial, foram analisados os espaços públicos centrais: a Praça Tiradentes, em Ouro Preto; o Largo das Forras, em Tiradentes, e a Praça da Liberdade, em Belo Horizonte. A narrativa elaborada, ao longo deste trabalho, permitiu-nos compreender as relações estabelecidas com os espaços patrimonializados a partir da construção de redes de proteção/imunidade. Nesse viés, a atmosfera patrimonial representa uma importante ferramenta para análise dos territórios patrimonializados, uma vez que permite compreender as relações entre os valores culturais, sociais e econômicos, além de romper as dicotomias estabelecidas entre patrimônios material e imaterial ao considerar a fusão de tais aspectos.

Since the institutionalization of heritage, the past has become an object of desire and commercialization, representing, at the same time, the construction of memories. Heritage spaces play an important role in the contemporary scenario regarding city production. The objective of this research is to understand to what extent it is possible to relate the processes of heritage preservation to the thematization and trivialization of heritage. With the trilogy Spheres by German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk as a method of analysis, we propose a specific approach to the construction of what we call heritage atmosphere, which encompasses the various dimensions and values associated with heritage, understood from its material and immaterial aspects, as a legacy and an active process of creating meanings and significance. In the framing of the notion of heritage atmosphere, the central public spaces were analyzed: Praça Tiradentes in Ouro Preto, Largo das Forras in Tiradentes, and Praça da Liberdade in Belo Horizonte. The narrative developed throughout this work allowed us to understand the relationships established with heritage spaces through the construction of networks of protection/immunity. In this vein, the heritage atmosphere represents an important tool for analyzing heritage territories, as it allows for understanding the relationships between cultural, social, and economic values, and breaking the dichotomies established between material and immaterial heritage by considering the fusion of such aspects.
