Ao alimentar o imaginário coletivo há mais de 100 anos, o mito sobre o achado da imagem de Nossa Senhora da Conceição Aparecida, conhecida como Aparecidinha, se encarrega de sustentar o patrimônio cultural religioso do município e da região. Desde a construção da primeira capela no final do século XIX, a imagem tem tido sua história firmada em diversos elementos simbólicos que solidificam, transformam e atualizam o mito do achado da imagem a cada celebração, a cada festa. Paulatinamente têm sido modificados os suportes materiais e imateriais que abrigam todo esse universo religioso popular, resultando na crescente importância do local como lugar de memória, hoje visto como significativo representante do turismo religioso, especialmente no dia da Santa, comemorado em 15 de agosto, quando atrai mais de 40 mil pessoas. Dessa forma, este trabalho busca identificar, através da história documental, utilizando fontes primárias e secundárias, e da história oral, entrevistando agentes e participantes das festividades e celebrações, os elementos formadores desse patrimônio cultural religioso.

Feeding the collective imagination for over 100 years, the myth about the finding of the image of Nossa Senhora da Conceição Aparecida, known as Aparecidinha, is responsible for sustaining the religious cultural heritage of the municipality and the region. Since the construction of the first chapel at the end of the 19th century, the image has had its history established in several symbolic elements that solidify, transform and update the myth of the finding of the image at each celebration, at each party. Gradually, the material and immaterial supports that house this entire popular religious universe have been modified, resulting in the growing importance of the place as a place of memory, today seen as a significant representative of religious tourism, especially on Saints Day, celebrated on August 15, when attracts more than 40 thousand people. In this way, this work seeks to identify, through documentary history, using primary and secondary sources, and oral history, interviewing agents and participants of the festivities and celebrations, the forming elements of this religious cultural heritage.
