Abstract in English
With the goal of solving the housing deficit, the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program guided the provision of social housing in Brazil for more than a decade and delivered millions of them in different regions of the country. Consequently, the Program left a legacy in the structuring of urban spaces, in the (re)production of socio-spatial segregation and in the experiences of its beneficiaries. Based on these considerations, the theme of this research is the sociabilities created by residents within residential condominiums, implying specific dynamics treated in this research as possibilities of living and reside through the PMCMV-1. For the study, three vertical condominiums in the city of Sertãozinho, in the interior of São Paulo, were selected. It starts from the assumption that the segregated location within the city, and, consequently, stigmatized by these residents, reverberates in the appropriations and perceptions about the inhabited place. For this reason, the research focuses on the results of the Technical Social Work, considering that it should have helped both in the adaptation process and in the dialogue between families and the local government. In this way, the research articulated methodologies that mainly include: analysis and systematization of data obtained in the City Hall through interviews with municipal managers, Social Service professionals, as well as the TTS results extracted from the reports of the companies responsible for their executions. In addition, the speech of some residents was privileged through field work aimed at the current understanding of the sociabilities formed in these spaces. In this way, it is expected to contribute to the understanding of the impacts caused in the lives of residents of PMCMV-1 in Sertãozinho/SP.
