Abstract in English
The covid-19 pandemic raised new challenges to the areas of International Relations and Global Health. Due to the importance of a globally accessible vaccine in an equitable way to overcome this crisis, several financing mechanisms were created to develop, produce and deliver vaccines across the world. The main mechanism was the COVAX Facility, this works object of study. Under the perspective of the critical studies in global health, this work aims to do a review of the available literature on this subject, accompanied by a critical analysis of its success and failures and how its model perpetuates a colonial logic between the countries, in the field of global health.
