A crescente produção do teatro negro contemporâneo no Brasil fomenta novas possibilidades estéticas e políticas para a população negra. Desde Abdias do Nascimento, o teatro negro propõe-se a refletir sobre sua identidade, característica que se mantém até a atualidade com diferentes demandas e perspectivas. O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar o espetáculo contemporâneo IDA, obra que centraliza a identidade da mulher negra brasileira, considerando suas fragmentações e intersecções. Como resultado deste trabalho, espera-se oferecer uma melhor compreensão acerca da posição e possibilidades estéticas e políticas do teatro negro contemporâneo frente às relações de disputa identitária enquanto práxis

The growing production of contemporary black theatre in Brazil fosters new aesthetic and political possibilities for the Black population. Since Abdias do Nascimento, black theatre projects itself to reflect on its identity. Characteristic that remains until the present with different demands and perspectives. The objective of this research is to analyze the contemporary play IDA, a work that centralizes the identity of the black Brazilian woman, considering its fragmentations and intersections. The result is expected to offer an understanding of the position and aesthetic possibilities of contemporary black theater in the face of identity disputes as praxis
