A Educação a Distância (EAD) expande-se rapidamente em todo o mundo e vislumbra um meio de democratizar o acesso ao conhecimento e de expandir oportunidades de trabalho e aprendizagem ao longo da vida. Na Saúde Pública, a EAD ainda tem muito a oferecer e pode criar oportunidades para favorecer a formação de profissionais com otimização do tempo de estudo e sem a necessidade de deslocamentos geográficos. A Saúde Pública é produto da interação estabelecida entre seres humanos e o ambiente social e natural em que vivem. A comunidade humana integra o ecossistema do planeta partilhando-o com outras formas de vida, no meio urbano são cães, gatos e animais da fauna sinantrópica num convívio que transita entre o saudável e a necessidade de controle dessas populações animais, prevenção de zoonoses e por ações educativas fundamentadas na promoção da saúde, ambiente saudável e na guarda responsável de animais de estimação. O conceito One Health integra as saúdes humana, animal e ambiental tratando-as como única para adotar políticas públicas efetivas na prevenção e controle de enfermidades. Este estudo propôs-se a criar, implantar, acompanhar e avaliar quali-quantitativamente o curso de capacitação ECOAR - Educação, Comunicação, Atitude e Responsabilidade EAD sob a ótica One Health, para discutir a educação em saúde para conteúdos de guarda responsável, controle da fauna sinantrópica, prevenção de zoonoses e o planejamento de ações educativas versando sobre as questões combinadas entre as saúdes humana, animal e ambiental com profissionais ligados aos serviços oficiais de Saúde e Meio Ambiente do Estado de São Paulo. A composição do curso fez uso das ferramentas disponíveis no meio virtual de ensino-aprendizagem, dentre elas, leituras de textos, videoaulas, questionários, participação em fóruns de discussão e pela elaboração de um projeto educativo em consonância com os objetivos e realidade de cada cursista, como atividade de finalização. O estudo foi composto por duas turmas, uma primeira por profissionais ligados à Superintendência de Controle de Endemias SUCEN e a segunda por integrantes da Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente do Estado de São Paulo. A avaliação de reação utilizou a Escala de Likert que permitiu colher a opinião escalonada, de acordo com o grau de concordância ou discordância dos participantes, a respeito da forma e dos produtos do curso EAD e da performance do professor-tutor. A análise quali-quantitativa fez uso do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo e da Análise de Conteúdo. A estatística inferencial foi realizada com o objetivo de comparar as proporções de respostas segundo o grupo de estudo. A aprendizagem do alunado foi considerada positiva diante das metodologias empregadas e sem diferença estatística significante. A EAD foi capaz de proporcionar a formação de profissionais aptos para identificar e elaborar um plano de ação educativa em seus territórios em acordo ao problema de saúde identificado.

Distance Education (EAD) expands rapidly around the world and envisions a means of democratizing access to knowledge and expanding opportunities for work and lifelong learning. In Public Health, EAD still has much to offer and can create opportunities to favor the training of professionals with optimization of study time and without the need for geographical displacements. Public Health is the product of the established interaction between human beings and the social and natural environment in which they live. The human community integrates the planets ecosystem by sharing it with other life forms; in the urban environment these are dogs, cats and animals of the synanthropic fauna in a coexistence that transits between the healthy and the need to control these animal populations, prevention of zoonoses and educational actions based on health promotion, healthy environment and responsible care of pets. The One Health concept integrates human, animal, and environmental health by treating them as unique to adopt effective public policies in disease prevention and control. The purpose of this study was to create, implement, monitor and evaluate qualitatively and quantitatively the capacitation program ECOAR - Education, Communication, Attitude and Responsibility (EAD) under the One Health perspective, to discuss health education for responsible care, synanthropic fauna control, prevention of zoonoses and planning of educational actions dealing with the combined issues of human, animal and environmental health with professionals related to the official services of Health and Environment of the State of São Paulo. The composition of the program made use of the tools available in the teaching and learning virtual environment, among them, readings of texts, videotapes, questionnaires, participation in discussion forums and the elaboration of an educational project in line with the objectives and reality of each student, as a completion activity. The study was composed of two groups, one by professionals linked to the Superintendence of Control of Endemics - SUCEN and the second by members of the State Secretariat of Environment of the State of São Paulo. The reaction evaluation used the Likert Scale, which allowed for the graded opinion, according to the degree of agreement or disagreement of the participants, regarding the form and products of the EAD program and the performance of the teacher-tutor. The quali-quantitative analysis made use of the Collective Subject Discourse and Content Analysis. Inferential statistics were applied to compare the proportions of responses according to the study group. Student learning was considered positive in relation to the methodologies employed and with no significant statistical difference. EAD was able to provide the training of professionals able to identify and elaborate an educational action plan in their territories according to the identified health problem
