Este trabalho, inserido no campo de pesquisas voltado ao estudo do pensamento freudiano, compõe-se de três partes. O conjunto de ensaios de sua primeira parte se reporta a investigações pertinentes às peculiaridades epistemológicas da psicanálise a partir de diversos ângulos. Os dois primeiros textos abordam a questão do estilo de Freud, demonstrando que sua relação com a literatura aponta para uma especificidade epistemológica do discurso psicanalítico: o ensaio inicial examina a originalidade do método de investigação da psicanálise por meio dos relatos clínicos de Freud e o ensaio seguinte apresenta uma perspectiva de interlocução entre Freud e Nietzsche a partir da criação poética, examinando a relação entre os estilos de ambos e suas concepções metodológicas relativas à produção de conhecimento.Os dois ensaios subsequentes examinam as características do método psicanalítico em função, de um lado, das analogias propostas por Freud com a arqueologia e a escultura, na perspectiva das resistências implicadas no descentramento da consciência e, de outro lado, em sua articulação com o fantasiar teórico subjacente à construção das ficções metapsicológicas. O último trabalho recorta como objeto de investigação a noção de "representação", presente desde os primórdios da constituição da psicanálise e delineia os impasses oriundos dessa conceituação em relação às formulações do segundo dualismo pulsional. A segunda parte desta tese, dedicada a questões relativas à sublimação, faz uma apresentação das principais obras freudianas dedicadas a esse tema e, na perspectiva de abordá-lo por meio da ideia de campo da sublimação, anuncia possíveis articulações entre sublimação, recalque e angústia. Na terceira parte, é feita uma discussão a partir do material obtido na etapa anterior, com a formulação de hipóteses em relação a questões que se destacaram em relação ao campo conceitual no qual se insere a sublimação, dando ênfase nas relações que sua operação mantém com o mecanismo do recalque e com a angústia

This work, situated in the field of research devoted to the study of Freudian thought, consists of three parts. The set of essays from its first part reports to relevant research on epistemological peculiarities of psychoanalysis from multiple angles. The first two texts address the matter of Freud's style, demonstrating that its relationship with the literature points to an epistemological specificity of psychoanalytic discourse: the initial essay examines the originality of the research method of psychoanalysis using Freud's clinical reports and the next essay presents a perspective of interlocution between Freud and Nietzsche from the poetic creation, examining the relationship between both styles and their methodological conceptions for the production of knowledge. The two subsequent essays examine the characteristics of the psychoanalytic method, depending, on the one hand, on the analogies of archeology and sculpture proposed by Freud, from the perspective of the resistances involved in the decentralization of consciousness and, on the other hand, in its articulation with the theoretical fantasizing the construction of metapsychological fictions. The last job has the notion of "representation" as research object, which is present since the origins of the constitution of the psychoanalysis and delineates the deadlocks from this conceptualization regarding the formulations of the second pulsional dualism. The second part of this thesis, dedicated to issues relating to sublimation, presents Freud's major works dedicated to this theme and, in the perspective of approaching it with the idea of field of sublimation, announces possible articulations between sublimation, repression and anguish. In the third part, a discussion is created from the material obtained in the previous step, with the formulation of hypotheses about the issues that stood out regarding the conceptual field in which sublimation is situated, giving emphasis on the relationships that its operation has with the mechanism of repression and anguish
