A tese analisa algumas aplicações do método canônico de quantização dos fluxos eletromagnéticos proposto recentemente1. Inicialmente nós consideramos a extensão canônica1 da regra de quantização de fluxo magnético devida a Dirac, e que foi reintroduzida por London. A regra de Dirac, considerada por Byers e Yang5 e por Onsager, é o que explica a quantização de fluxo em tubos supercondutores, observada por Deaver e Fairbanl e Doll e Nãbauer. Sua justificativa provem do requerimento da continuidade da função de onda de um elétron, que se move num orbital fechado, enfeixando fluxo magnético.
