Estudamos as teorias não abelianas em uma classe geral
de gauges axiais. Analisamos a renormalização destas teorias nos gauges axiais onde as partículas de Faddeev-Popov são livres. Em seguida, estudamos o comportamento assintótico a altas energias e a causa da liberdade assintótica. Finalmente, analisamos a estrutura das divergências infravermelhas principais na Cromodinâmica Quântica, teoria não abeliana de gauge
