Abstract in English
The implementation and continuous use of health information systems (SIS) are today priorities to enable integral and integrated care for citizens' health. Computerized processes have been increasingly used to ensure quality health care at different levels of complexity. The management of data sets that are too large, called big data, generated in clinical services, the possibility of its access at the time and place necessary for care, and the potential to obtain quality of care indicators from the analysis of large information repositories and its use in management support, are some of the many advantages of the informatization of healthcare records. The availability of health information in the point of care can change the health landscape whether in a region, country or even globally. In this context, a current subject of research in the area of medical informatics is the use of process mining (PM) to extract indicators to support decision making in healthcare management, through the structuring of a mental health matrix. The hypothesis is that the SIS, in the particular case of the research presented here represented by the Mental Health Information System (SISAM-13), has the required data for the construction of the such matrix. However, they are not organized for this purpose and PM is a good option to avoid the need for human manual rework, extracting the necessary indicators from the logs that represent the processes performed into the SIS. The material and methods used in the research include: the development of SISAM-13 log extraction database scripts, use of the DISCO open source MP application for log organization, big data generation of health indicators in compliance with the openEHR canonical model and indicators selection in accordance with the matrix model. The period of events analyzed took into consideration the years 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The results obtained indicate the potential use of PM to support the structuring of the mental health matrix.
