Desvelando o professor efetivo de física

Unveiling the Effective Physics Teacher

Abstract in English
The objective of this research is to unveil the effective physics teacher at public schools, conceiving it as a subject (autos) of permanent education. With this purpose, it was elected the physics teachers at the public schools of the regions of Alto Tietê and Jacarei as the universe of study. To this end, it was adopted the bio-cognitive approach of the formation of Pascal Galvani and Gaston Pineau. This approach conceives of teacher's education from their interaction with the physical, social and cultural environment (ecoformation e heteroformation) and their reflex action about these interactions (autoformation). The interactions performed by the subjects (autos) with the environment were studied based on three levels: the level of symbolic interaction, the level of practice interaction and the level of epistemic interaction. The level of symbolic interaction is formed by the images and symbols, which the teachers resonate and build their representations; this level of interaction is unveiled according to the study of the imagination of teachers, from the Anthropology of the Imaginary of Gilbert Durand (2002): it was used the AT-9 test of Yves Durand and the methodology of coats of Pascal Galvani to access the imagination of physics teachers in this research. The level of practical interaction is composed by the gestures and schemes of physical and mental operations. The practice interaction is unveiled according to the study of teacher knowledge from the work of Tardif (2002). For the collection of data regarding to the level of practical interaction, were realized video images of the classes of the teachers in this search, as well as open interviews, semi-structured and focused on the problem. The level of epistemic interaction is composed by the formal knowledge and the concepts that allow interaction with the social and cultural environment, presenting a rational and scientific predomination. The epistemic interaction is unveiled from the study of conceptions about the nature of science and conceptions about the teaching work of the teachers. In order to unveiling the concepts of the nature of science, it was used a questionnaire based on the work of Lederman et al (2002) and the questionnaire VOSE of Chen (2006). Narratives of life history of the teachers complete the data collection, expanding the look on the symbolic, practical and epistemic interactions. The unveiling of the teachers in this study indicate that: i) the imaginary structures are directly related to how teachers conduct their practices and epistemic interactions, ii) the interaction between "autos" and the environment make possible the "autos" became conscious about your operational process, and iii) the epistemic interactions do not guarantee a good practice interaction.
