Abstract in English
This doctoral thesis aims at the comparative study of the works of two mozambicans writers inserted on the macrosystem of literatures in Portuguese, Mia Couto and Paulina Chiziane. We worked on the theme of war from the perspective of the classic fantastic (Todorov, 2008), and the contemporary fantastic (Sartre, 2006; Bessière, 1974) in two novels, Terra sonâmbula (Couto, 1992) and Ventos do apocalipse (Chiziane, 1999) considering them as spaces for dialogic discussion, in continuous transformation and determined by history. (Bakhtin, 1988; Lukacs, 2006). Our comparative approach sought to tie the issues concerning the theory of alien to own in order to provide a better understanding of the Mozambican literature and its context. In addition, through this possibility of greater understanding, facilitate their dissemination.
