Partindo de nove crônicas, do escritor Rubem Braga, publicadas exclusivamente na revista Manchete de 1964 a 1967 parte do corpus se refere ao início da ditadura militar no Brasil -, estabeleceu-se uma conexão com o princípio da função testemunhal da narrativa, que pressupõe a existência de um fato real; o narrador rubembraguiano registra o testemunho, demonstrando preocupação com alguns problemas políticos de sua época, sem deixar de desempenhar o papel de entreter o leitor.

In relation to nine chronic, by Rubem Braga, published exclusively in the magazine Manchete in 1964 to 1967 - part of the corpus refers to the beginning of the military dictatorship in Brazil -, was established a connection with the theory of the testimonial narrative function, which assumes the existence of a real fact; the rubembraguianos narrator registers the testimony, showing concern about some political problems of those days, without ceasing to play part to entertain the reader.
