Em nosso trabalho, analisamos duas epopéias coloniais do Brasil, a "De Gestis Mendi de Saa", de José de Anchieta, e "Caramuru", de Santa Rita Durão, buscando verificar suas semelhanças e diferenças no que tange a seu discurso religioso e a suas formas de representar o índio brasileiro.

In this dissertation I analysed two colonial brazilian epic poems, "De Gestis Mendi de Saa", by José de Anchieta, and "Caramuru", by Santa Rita Durão, searching to verify their similitudes and differences concerning their religious discurse and their ways of representing brazilian indians.
