Abstract in English
The construction of a hyperdocument usually involves the handling of a great volume of information. It is, therefore, considered an error prone activity. The hyperdocument's analysis procedure, which helps both, the authoring activity and the improvement of the quality of a document, requires from the author a complete view of the hyperdocument, approached from different perspectives. Sometimes this is not feasible unless supported by some kind of systematic or automated procedure. This work is concerned with automated ways of evaluating a hyperdocument, using its structure, aiming to improve the quality of the link organisation defined by the author. The systematic approach for examining the hyperdocument, based on the relational analysis of link reuses, proposed in this work, subsidised the development of the LiOS (Link Oriented System) system, a tool for helping the authoring process, through the evaluation of the structure of an hyperdocument. By using the LiOS system for examining an hyperdocument from the World-Wide Web it was evidenced that, through the identification of the link reuse cases, the quality of the hyperdocument could be improved; this fact stresses the efficiency of the proposed approach
