Abstract in Portuguese

O extrato do basidiomiceto Auricularia sp.apresentou atividade leishmanicida e tripanossomicida enquanto o extrato do A. mayanensis apresentou atividade antibacteriana, citotóxica e de inibição do proteassomo.

Abstract in English

The present investigation reports the study of basidiomycetes Auricularia sp. and Aurantiopileus mayanensis. Extracts obtained from the fruiting bodies of basidiomycetes were analyzed by HPLC-UV-ELSD-MS and in biological activity assays. The extract of the basidiomycete Auricularia sp. presented leishmanicidal and trypanosomicidal activities while the extract of A. mayanensis presented antibacterial, cytotoxic and proteasome inhibition activities. Chromatographic techniques were applied to fractionate the extracts. Methyl 7-(N-(4-hydroxyphenyl) formamido) heptanoate was isolated from the extract of Auricularia sp., which was designated with the common name methyl ester of auricularic acid. Four derivatives of anarcadic acids and ergosterol were also isolated from the extract of the basidiomycete A. mayanensis. All compounds were identified by analyses of spectrometric and spectroscopic data.
