O presente trabalho analisa as experiências educativas desenvolvidas com alunos e professores de uma escola pública. A experiência buscou aproximar a Arqueologia das práticas escolares, integrando-a ao processo ensino-aprendizagem, tendo como suporte um novo universo teórico e prático. A partir das experiências vivenciadas buscou-se refletir sobre o que denominamos Educação Patrimonial, como campo de conhecimento e método, sua atuação na Educação e em museus, e como a Arqueologia, como ciência que se quer pública, pode contribuir e atuar na produção do conhecimento no meio escolar. Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma proposta educativa em torno do sítio arqueológico Ruínas Engenho São Jorge dos Erasmos, localizado em Santos, São Paulo, utilizando-o como eixo articulador entre Arqueologia, Educação e Patrimônio.

Abstract in English
This paper analyzes the educational experiments conducted with students and teachers at a public school. The experiment sought to bring the archeology of school practices, integrating the teaching-learning process, supported by a new theoretical and practical universe. As from the lived experiences it sought to reflect on what we call Heritage Education as a field of acknowledgement and method, its performance in education and in museums as it is as archeology as science that would be public, can contribute and act in the production of knowledge at school environment. In this sense, the aim of this paper is to present an educational proposal on the archaeological site Ruins of São Jorge dos Erasmos mill´s, located in Santos, São Paulo, using it as articulator axis between Archaeology, Education and Heritage.
