Abstract in English
In this study we attempt to recognize how the ethic conflicts of the contemporary medicine were expressed in two different discursive contexts: those related to the art of medicine and those that constitute the scenario of its techniques. The discourses related to the technique were researched in texts of the Joumal of the American Medical Association and the New England Journal of Medicine, between 1990 and 1996, while those related to the art of medicine were based on publications of the Hastings Center Report, the Journal of Medical Ethics and the Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, during 1990, 1993 and 1996. Keeping in mind that medicine constitutes a privileged field for the expression of the plurality of the moral values present in the contemporary society, we introduce some theoretical approaches to the morality foundations, as well as we discuss its relations with others values potentially determinant of the medical practices, as those related to science, law and bioethic. Starting from such considerations, we, finally, proceed to the presentation and discussion of the discursive nucleus identified in the texts which constituted the empirical material of the present work.
