As Ciências Sociais e Humanas tiveram um papel relevante na constituição do campo da Saúde Coletiva e da ABRASCO. E desde então, têm trazido abordagens conceituais e metodológicas para a compreensão e a interpretação dos aspectos socioculturais ligados ao processo saúde-doença, dentre esses, destacam-se as relações de gênero. A presente pesquisa analisou os trabalhos com enfoque nas relações de gênero nos Congressos Brasileiros de Ciências Sociais e Humanas em Saúde, promovidos pela ABRASCO, no período de 1995 a 2011, apresentados sob a forma de resumos em Anais. Os trabalhos foram selecionados a partir de alguns critérios estabelecidos e analisados segundo: o tipo de estudo, a abordagem metodológica, a autoria, a população estudada e os temas abordados. Na segunda fase, os assuntos abordados nesses trabalhos foram sistematizados em oito áreas temáticas. Os resultados mostraram um aumento expressivo da produção com enfoque nas relações de gênero ao longo dos cinco Congressos, totalizando 489 resumos, sendo 90,6 por cento resumos de pesquisas que utilizavam a metodologia qualitativa nas suas análises (68,4 por cento ). Quanto à autoria: houve o predomínio de grupos exclusivamente femininos (64,3 por cento ), oriundos da região Sudeste (52,9 por cento ) e filiados às universidades públicas (70,8 por cento ). Em relação à população estudada: 51,7 por cento eram mulheres, em idade produtiva e/ou reprodutiva e 41,9 por cento eram usuárias/os e/ou profissionais dos serviços de saúde. Os recortes por estratos sociais, raça/etnia e/ou orientação sexual foram pouco utilizados. Os temas mais abordados foram: reprodução e/ou sexualidade (30,3 por cento ), violência (25,8 por cento ) e masculinidades e saúde dos homens (16 por cento ). Considerando o período analisado, a pesquisa revelou parte da história de um campo de estudos marcado pela conquista de espaço institucional, pela interlocução com os serviços e as políticas de saúde e pelo amadurecimento e pela diversificação das temáticas abordadas

Social and Humanities Sciences played an important role in the formation of the field of Collective Health and ABRASCO. And since then they have brought conceptual and methodological approaches to the understanding and interpretation of the sociocultural aspects related to the health-illness process, among these, it is highlighted gender relations. This study analyzed the papers based on a gender relations perspective in the Brazilian Congress of Social Sciences and Humanities in Collective Health, sponsored by ABRASCO, from 1995 to 2011, presented in the form of abstracts in the annals of the Congresses. The works were selected from some established criteria and analyzed according to: the type of study, the methodological approach, the authors, the study population and the themas covered. In the second phase, the matters discussed in this work were organized into eight thematic areas. The results presented a significant increase in production related with gender relations perspective throughout the five Congresses, totaling 489 abstracts, of which 90.6 per cent summaries researches that used qualitative methodology in their analysis (68.4 per cent ). Considering authorship: there was a predominance of groups exclusively female authors (64.3 per cent ), from the Southeast (52.9 per cent ) and affiliated to public universities (70.8 per cent ). Regarding the study population, 51.7 per cent were women of productive and/ or reproductive age, and 41.9 per cent were users of occupational health services. The clipping by social strata, race /ethnicity and sexual orientation was not widely used. The themes discussed were: reproduction and/ or sexuality (30.3 per cent ), violence (25.8 per cent ), and masculinities and men's health (16 per cent ). Considering the analyzed period, the survey revealed part of the history of a field of study marked by the achievement of institutional space by the dialogue with health services policies, its maturity and diversification of the subjects addressed
