Abstract in English
Let Ω be an arbitrary bounded nonempty domain in RM x RN with Lipschitz boundary. We denote by (x, y) a generic point in RM x RN. Given ε > 0, we consider the squeezed domain Ωε := {(x, y) ∈ RM x RN | (x, y) ∈ Ω}. In this work we consider a family of reaction-diffusion equations (Eε) ut = Δu + f(u), t > 0, (x,y) ∈ Ωε, ∂vε = 0, t > 0 (x, y) ∈ ∂Ωε, where f is a nonlinearity with some growth conditions such that for each ε > 0, (Eε) generates a semiflow πε in H1ε. This family has a limit equation (E0) which also generates a limiting semifiow π01(Ω). A dissipativeness condition on f implies that for each ε ≥ 0, there exists a global attractor Aπε related to the semifiow πε. We present important results on the asymptotic behavior of the family of semiflows (πε)ε > 0 as ε → 0+ . In particular, we show that the family of attractors (Aπε) ε ≥ 0 is upper semicontinuous at ε = 0 in a restrict sense to be presented in Chapter 5. We conclude with a study of the limiting equation (E0) when M = N = 1 and Ω is a nice decomposed domain. This work is based on the papers [20], [18] and [4].
