In this work we provce the existence of global attractors for thge scalar linearly damped hyperbolic equation in a bounded smooth domain Ω ⊂ R³ w_tt + βw_t = Δw + f(w) in Ω, w = 0 in ∂Ω, when the nonlinear term grows subcritically.
