An and-or graph approach to the non guillotine two-dimensional cutting stock problem

This work suggests a resolution for the non-guillotine cutting problem by AND/OR-graph. There is a rectangular plate that can he cut only two kinds of cutting patterns, the order O and 1 non-guillotine. The objective is to find the optimal manner of cutting it in smaller pieces.
