Abstract in English
The aim of this work is to extend the FreeFlow-3D simulation system to incomprossible non-isothermal free surface flows. The Navier-Stokes equations together with appropriate boundary conditions are discretized using the finite difference method on a staggered grid. Temperature effects are included in the code by using the Boussinesq approximation and the viscosity is calculated as a function of the temperature or it is set constant depending on the choice of the FreeFlow-3D's user. Numerical results demonstrating the capabilities of the FreeFlow-3D code for solving non-isothermal free surface flows are presented and discussed.
