Este projeto de mestrado visa dar continuidade ao desenvolvimento do gerador de malhas não estruturadas tridimensionais que será utilizado pelo grupo de Mecânica de Fluídos Computacional do ICMC na simulação de escoamento de fluídos. Sistemas integrados de modelagem geométrica com alto grau de interatividade exigem estruturas de dados eficazes na representação dos objetos. Na modelagem interativa, as estruturas devem ser eficientes no tempo de acesso às relações de incidências e adjacências. Com esse propósito é que apresentamos uma estrutura de dados para representar objetos volumétricos, tal estrutura deve ser o mais eficiente possível ao mesmo tempo que armazena o mínimo possível de informações. Esta também poderá representar singularidades em vértices e em arestas, não ficando portanto restrita à representação somente de variedades.

This master's degree project seeks to give continuity to the development of the threedimensional unstructured grid generator that will be used by the group of Computational Fluid Mechanics of ICMC in the numeric simulation of fluid flow. Integrated systems of geometric modelling with high interaction demand data structures effective in the representation of the objects. In the interactive modelling, the structures should be efficient in the time of access to the relationships of incidences and adjacencies. With that purpose it is that presented this data structure to represent volumetric objects, such structure it should be as efficient as possible at the same time that stores the possible minimum of information. It will also be able to represent singularities in vertexes and in edges, not being therefore restricted to the representation of manifolds only.
