Abstract in English
We study in this dissertation the propagation of a self-transparent light pulse in a medium of two level atoms whose excited states have the typical degeneracy of the l=1 angular momentum. The problem is discussed in the semi classical approximation with the help of self-consistent equations written in terms of the electrical field and the mean values of relevant physical quantities which describe the state of the medium. We obtain elliptically polarized self-transparent solutions for both cases of negligible line-width and when the line-width is due to inhomogeneous broadening.
