Abstract in English
The present work sought to elaborate a typology of the Social Organizations (OS) qualified to provide services in the local health system of the Municipality of São Paulo (PMSP), from data analysis regarding profiles, standards and resources of these entities. Hence, the research was carried out in two parts. The first one consisted of a narrative review of the literature on specific health services management modalities in the Brazilian Unified National Health System. The review identified, in 33 publications, that the literature analyzed is limited, concentrated in the State of São Paulo, showing little theoretical diversity and methodological weaknesses, while it is inconclusive as to the superiority of one management model over another. The second part of the work was an information gathering from 30 OS qualified under PMSP. Public databases and information from the OS were used. The data collected generated six distinct types, covering organizational aspects related to their identity, financial parameters and the relationship between OS and PMSP. The results suggest that there are significant differences between the OS studied, highlighting the plurality of profiles of the institutions operating within the PMSP and registering heterogeneity to be studied deeply
