Abstract in English
Between april 1997 and january 1998, 231 patients were selected and divided into two groups: control group with 88 patients and 143 patients with coronary artery disease. The latter group was then divided into two subgroups: 59 patients with stable angina and 84 patients with AMI. Clinical characteristics, risk factors, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, lipid profile, glycemia, smoking, apoliprotein Al, apoliprotein B, lipoprotein(a), fibrinogen, uric acid and total blood cell count were analyzed. Multivariate analysis showed age, HDL-cholesterol, leukocytes and monocytes as independent risk factors for coronay heart disease.
