Abstract in English
This thesis, based on the notion of structural coupling, of Humberto Maturana and Fagundes Varela (2002), and anthropological itinerary, of Gilbert Durand (1989), circularizes the relationships among the geophysical nature of the pantanais matogrossenses, the centennial cultures that have been inhabited them which also characterizing them of imbricate forms. It presents Manoel Barros's life and thoughts in the context of the pantaneiro man?s oral tradition, during a period of time in which the cuiabania educational praxis historically was constructed. Based on the author's poetic work, this study selects symbolic images that reflect the relationships among the environment, the man and the imaginary. Through poetic images, as the mud, the shell, the can, the stone and the tree, and of the interest that the poet manifests for strange people, beggars, lunatics and wanderers, these images are related to Puer Aeternus's mythical illustration and the regional Pé de Garrafa, anchored in the Great Mother's archetype. The symbolic reading is constructed mainly based on the bachelardian, jungian and durandian theories. Finally, facing the fact that Manoel of Barros is a kind of author exceptionally read at the schools in the state of Mato Grosso, some reflections regarding the teaching of Mato-grossense Literature in this study were done, proposing the students' contact with the Barros' poetic of starting from new methodologies, as Laboratories of Sensitivity.
