Esta pesquisa aborda aspectos sobre programas educativos implementados pela Secretaria Estadual de Educação para promover a visita de alunos a instituições culturais. Na primeira parte faremos uma análise de um período da história do ensino de arte que consideramos determinante na difusão de conhecimentos que focaram a leitura de imagens e que, consequentemente, demandou a visitação de alunos a mostras e exposições. Na segunda parte analisaremos os mais significativos programas implantados pela Secretaria Estadual de Educação nos últimos anos, assim como materiais pedagógicos enviados às escolas, produzidos por instituições culturais em diferentes períodos. Na terceira parte analisaremos registros sobre a visita de alunos realizada em três instituições culturais. Na quarta e última parte faremos uma análise final localizando as fragilidades e os avanços que fundamentaram nossas considerações propositivas.

Abstract in English
This research covers aspects related to educational programs implemented by the State Secretary of Education to promote student visits to cultural institutions. In the first part we will analyze a period in the history of art education that we consider essential in the promotion of knowledge which focused on image reading and, therefore, required student visits to exhibits and expositions. In the second part we will analyze the most significant programs implemented by the State Secretary of Education in the past few years, just like pedagogical materials sent to schools produced by cultural institutions in different periods. In the third part we will analyze records of student visits to three cultural institutions. In the fourth and last part we will make a final analysis focusing on the fragilities and advances that grounded our propositional considerations.
