A presente pesquisa investigou o aspecto afetivo da aprendizagem da estatística através do estudo das atitudes em relação à estatística. Isto foi feito a partir da revisão de pesquisas na área educativa acerca das atitudes em relação à estatística e através da revisão psicométrica de instrumentos de avaliação utilizados no Brasil e a nível internacional para estudar e medir as atitudes. Observa-se que em geral há uma estreita relação entre as atitudes positivas e o bom desempenho acadêmico e que as atitudes não favoráveis em relação à estatística podem dificultar a aprendizagem da estatística. Com respeito à avaliação, apresenta-se as diferentes escalas utilizadas para o estudo das atitudes em relação à estatística. No Brasil, observa-se que basicamente se faz uso da escala de atitudes em relação à estatística de Cazorla et al (1999).

The present investigation discovers the affective aspect in the learning he/she gives the statistic through the study from the attitudes to the statistic. This was carried out starting from the revision of investigations in the educational area about the attitudes to the statistic and through the revision psicométrica of evaluation instruments used in Brazil and at international level to study and to measure the attitudes. It is observed that in general there is a narrow relationship between the positive attitudes and an appropriate academic yield and that the non favourable attitudes to the statistic can hinder their learning. Regarding the evaluation psicométrica different scales used for the study from the attitudes to the statistic is presented. In the Brazil, it is observed that basically use is made from the attitudes scale to the statistic made by Cazorla et al (1999).
