Abstract in English
The research objected to see more knowledge over the convergences between resilience and spirituality through the quantitative and qualitative search by the social psychology perspective. The resilience scale ERS, control locus Rotter scale, the Marlowe and Crowne social desirability scale and a semi-directed interview contributed to the data be revealed and analyzed. The theoretical discussion based in Cyrulnik, addresses resilience, religiosity and spirituality. With the quantitative data it was possible to infer that the greater the internal control locus, the more the person is resilient to life. In the sample related to this search, the resilience showed greater in religious, however without significant difference among the groups. At the quantitative stage, the interviews revealed signs that is not easy to the no religious participants to stay away from the belief in something transcendent. On the other hand, the religious people showed greater ease in interpersonal relationships, which may indicate that is a more flexible group due to the social stimulus that they experience
