Abstract in English
This study sought to delineate through the Institutional Analysis of Discourse in interviews, modes of subjectivity in a shelter for adolescents in situations of vulnerability. Our central questions were: What subjects are constituted and how they recognize themselves in this context? What is the relationship that young people establish with shelter and other institutional actors? What actions define a shelters routine? To formulate and try to find reasonable answers to these and other questions, we rely on the Institutional Psychology by Guirado and her method of research - Institutional Analysis of Discourse. So, ten interviews were conducted with adolescents of three shelters in the city of São Paulo, and from the discourses made, we define the subjective places that are configured as well as/the tensions, expectations and effects arising from them. We were aware of the ways in which interviewees spoke of themselves, of others, shelter, future, family and the idiosyncratic ways how each one stands at the scene of the interview. The daily actions were described as an opportunity to think about the modes of subjectivation configured by the shelter. Finally, we mark those who seemed to be the main challenges and strengths of this institution
