Abstract in English
The granitic pegmatites from Socorro region (SP) show simple mineralogy, composed of microcline, plagioclase and quartz. The presence of biotite, magnetite and U and Nb oxides makes the difference between a rather primitive group of occurrences and a slightly differentiated one, muscovite and beryl bearing. However, the geochemical behaviour of some trace elements has indicated small degree of fractionation, with the obtained values overlapping those for pegmatoid veins generated by anatexis as well as simple pegmatites from rare element fields. Two K/Ar dating yielded 572 '+ OU -' 13 and 579 '+ OU -' 19My ages, allowing correlations with either the phases of migmatization in the Brasiliano Cycle or the late to pos-orogenic Morungaba granitoids.
