Abstract in English
This research approaches, in a interdisciplinary way, the work of the musical group Passo Torto, in its connection to the city of São Paulo and to the motif of death, both recurrent in the three albums released up to the present moment by the group. We aim to point out the problematic contemporary urban experiences portrayed in the narratives throughout the three albums, in a way so that the discourse built in the musical work is highlighted, since it is relevant for a reflection towards current urban matters such as violence, social segregation, real state speculation and the degradation of human life in general. Besides that, through the gathering of various data in the internet, it was possible to systematize the trajectories of the group, of its members and of the artists with whom they have collaborated, documenting and composing a partial scenery of the authorial musical scene in São Paulo since the year 2000.
