Abstract in English
A hardware in the loop simulation (HIL) for a Flex fuel engine was developed, at this work, to improve and assist the ECU (Engine Control Unit) development phases. In order to make the HIL simulation, a work of analysis, optimization and implementation was performed based on the Flex fuel engine models, as its sensors and actuators, with the goal of performing HIL simulation in real time, allowing the interaction between the ECU and HIL simulation. The study object was the EA111 VHT (Very High Torque) 1.6l engine from the vehicle GOL 2008 total Flex. Tests were performed at this motor, in order to identify the intrinsic parameters, present in the selected models. From the collected data, the identified models were analyzed, obeying pre-established metrics, implementing the models in the LabCar tool, were the HIL simulation was validated in real time by comparing the values obtained with the simulation to the tests performed at the real engine. The final result is obtained: a HIL simulation capable of emulating the engine's relevant characteristics, interacting in real time with the ECU.
