O presente trabalho se realiza no âmbito estrito da pesquisa imagética, percorrendo uma grande variedade de registros iconográficos, bem como produtos audiovisuais. Tanto em um caso, quanto no outro, o objeto da pesquisa não foi o conjunto dos produtos de origem, mas suas reverberações e, de certa forma, decaimento, nas replicações propiciadas pela internet. Às investigações realizadas interessou, portanto, não a imagem magistralmente produzida, mas seu modo pós-aurático de existência, ou seja, as imagens vadias, sem origem e destino, que a contemporaneidade produz e reproduz ininterruptamente, e que faz circular no mundo digital. Do ponto de vista metodológico, os desenvolvimentos realizados se fundamentam na tradução poética intersemiótica, que determina o valor, o peso e a qualidade do texto, em sua relação com as imagens - constituindose a relação texto/ imagem a problemática fundamental e o terreno das operações realizadas. O efeito que se pretende obter com a tradução intersemiótica é produzir um texto que não explique a imagem e assegurar que aquela não ilustre o texto: têm ambos valor de imagem, são elementos gráficos e, em tal condição, estão apontados para olho e seu permanente estado de prontidão, antes de se dirigirem ao intelecto e sua propensão à reflexão. De transcurso caixa de fundo vazado espera-se um resultado para além das conclusões teóricas. Nascido imagem, só pode retornar imagens. Resulta da operação, portanto, não um produto, mas um operador, um dispositivo cujo modo de ser é a existência replicante. Tal condição não estabelece um divórcio com as disciplinas teóricas, mas, bem ao contrário, institui para com elas um vínculo essencial, respeitadas as distintas naturezas de cada qual: por existir imageticamente, esse trabalho retorna continuamente o que se pode chamar de traços fisionômicos da contemporaneidade. Esses traços interessam tanto à pesquisa social teórica, quanto à pesquisa aplicada, tendo movimentado a filosofia de Walter Benjamin que, juntamente com Gilles Deleuze, são as referências básicas desse trabalho.

This work has been done under a strictly visual research, covering a wide range of iconographic records and audiovisual products. The research has not taken into account the original images, but their reverberations and somehow their decay, once they have been replicated throughout the Internet. The images masterfully produced are not the main purpose of this work, but their post-auratic mode of existence, that is, images without origin and destination which are continuously produced and reproduced by the contemporary society and whose existence occurs in the digital world. From the methodological point of view the developments made are based on intersemiotic translation, which determines the value, weight, and quality of the text in its relationship with the images - the relation text / image is the basic problem and the field where the poetic operations are carried out. The aim of intersemiotic translation is to produce a text that does not explain the image and ensure that image does not illustrate the text: both have image value, graphics elements, and are pointed to the eyes with their permanent state of readiness, instead of focusing on the intellect and its propensity for reflection. From transcurso caixa de fundo vazado one cannot expect strictly intellectual result or theoretical conclusions. Once it is born image, it can only return to images. It results from the operation, therefore it is not a product, but an operator, a device whose mode of being is a replicant existence. This condition does not establish a divorce with the theoretical disciplines, but, on the contrary, establishes among them an essential link, subjected to the different natures of each one. Since this work exists only in the image sphere, it continually returns to what one can classify properly as physiognomy of the contemporary life. These physiognomic traits interest both to the theoretical and applied social research and it is related to the whole philosophy of Walter Benjamin who, along with Gilles Deleuze, is the basic theoretical references of this work.
