Abstract in English
This research investigates the historical context, influences and pianistic resources applied by Egberto Gismonti in two major works of his repertoire: Sete Anéis and Karatê. Through the analysis of the transcription of these work in the CD Alma (1996), we could detect the use of patterns of accompaniment, rhythm displacement, thematic construction and deconstruction, clusters and also the use of brazillian rhythms in a way that builds a personal approach of Gismonti in playing and arranging his own compositions at the piano.
