Abstract in English
The present research aim at examining the Freedom Awreness as a recurrent theme (Leitmotiv) in Jorge Andrade` s dramaturgy according to Freudian Psychoanalysis. Four plays were selected: A Moratória ("Moratorium"), Vereda da Salvação ("Salvation Path"), Rasto Atrás (Track Behind") and O Sumidouro ("Bottomless Pit"). As a mater of fact, there is a relationship beteween some characters` behaviours with some processes studied by Freud and also how these behaviour patterns connect to freedom as Leitmotiv.
