O objetivo desta pesquisa é o desenvolvimento de uma metodologia de ensino de direção de arte cênica e cinematográfica, realizada através de experiências práticas e sessões explanativas, de caráter interdisciplinar e coletivo. Quando falamos de Direção de Arte estamos nos referindo a uma área do conhecimento cuja sintaxe baseia-se no trinômio Corpo- Espaço-Tempo, conformando-se, por excelência, em uma linguagem multidisciplinar. Nosso foco de estudo concentra-se no processo de aprendizado de estudantes universitários, provenientes de diferentes escolas ligadas às artes do espaço, sobre aspectos fundamentais da criação do ambiente da cena, seja ela performativa, expositiva, teatral ou audiovisual. Tem como objeto de pesquisa o Laboratório Interdisciplinar - Fronteiras Permeáveis, desenvolvido pela pesquisadora, durante o segundo semestre de 2013, na Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo, como disciplina optativa livre presente no currículo do departamento de Cinema, Rádio e Televisão, sob o título Seminário Temático - CTR 0809. Através da análise da experiência realizada, dos depoimentos dos estudantes participantes e de estudo teórico, pretende-se discutir, nesta dissertação, a pertinência da metodologia aplicada, que reúne tanto experiências vivenciais, de caráter coletivo, quanto aulas discursivas, no âmbito da Universidade de São Paulo. Através de análise bibliográfica e da discussão da prática realizada junto aos estudantes, pretende-se avaliar seus limites e alcances, verificando a possibilidade de sua aplicação na esfera universitária.

This dissertation presentes a teaching methodology for scenic and cinematic arts which was accomplished through interdisciplinar, and collective, sessions both for practical experiences, and exposition. When talking about Art direction, it is referred to the knowledge area whose syntax is based on the Body-Space-Time triad, par excellence conforming a multidisciplinary language. The spoken Art Direction subject is refered to this area of knowledge whose syntax is based on the Body-Space-Time triad, par excellence conformed in a multidisciplinary language. The focus of this study is a group of University of São Paulo students' learning process. Students come from different programs (Architecture, Audiovisual, and Cenic Arts), all related to the arts of the space, with emphasis on: creating and designing athmospheres either for performances, exhibits, theatral or audiovisual. Research for this dissertation was conducted in the interdisciplinary laboratory - Permeable Borders, developed by the researcher during the second half of 2013, at the School of Communication and Arts in the University of São Paulo, as an open elective discipline of the Film and Television program, under the title: Thematic Workshop - CTR 0809. Analysis of course experiences, participant's testimonials, and theoretical considerations form the empirical database for the discussion of he efficacy of the applied methodology,. Through bibliographical references and the argumentation about the practical activities conducted with the students, this dissertation proposes new interdisciplinary theoretical and practical tools to stimulate the production of shared knowledge about scenic space among university undergraduate students.
